Nixon Library Wedding ~ A Presidential Celebration
Nixon Library Wedding ~ Christina and Cole
This Nixon Library wedding was a high class celebration of presidential caliber. The bridal party was dressed to the nines and began their day with a beautiful photo shoot at the Langham in Pasadena. The formal ceremony was held at St Andrews Catholic church, and guests were welcomed with bagpipes. The bagpipe player led the processional down the aisle, with a trumpeter, string trio, and choir providing beautiful music throughout the ceremony. After the ceremony Christina and Cole toasted champagne and enjoyed a grand send off in a Rolls Royce. The reception was hosted at Nixon Library where the bride and her mother planned magnificent details around a presidential theme. During cocktail hour guests were serenaded by live piano while sipping on signature cocktails, the “First Lady” and “Commander in Chief”. Guests signed a “Declaration of Dependence” to acknowledge their attendance of the couples’ wedding, and then entered the ballroom, which is a replica of the White House East Room. Gold candelabras filled with gold baby’s breath and candles decorated each table. Mantels were adorned with gold votives, floating candles, and gold baby’s breath. Tables were named after presidents and included tuxedo place settings. Guests were serenaded by a violinist during dinner, and throughout the reception enjoyed a dessert table with spun sugar, 9-tier wedding cake, cigar patio, and to-go snacks at the end of the evening. This presidential wedding was definitely one for the books!
