California Destination Wedding ~ Tony and Rowena

Events by Katherine had the pleasure of planning a California destination wedding for Tony and Rowena, one of the most down-to-earth fun-loving couples we’ve ever worked with. This bride and groom live in Australia, so most of the planning was done via email, with the bride not seeing her venue until the wedding day! Tony and Rowena were surrounded by friends and family that flew in from around the world to celebrate their marriage. Ceremony was held at Mariners Church, where the bridal party processed to live violin, and the couple exchanged vows under the beautiful architecture of the Chapel. As in Aussie tradition, the bridal party embarked on a 3 hour photo shoot at beautiful locales around Orange County, then headed to Center Club for the evening reception. Lively entertainment included Chinese lion dancers and an electric violinist. In lieu of favors, donations were made to a cancer society in honor of the bride’s late grandmother. Everyone had a blast as they filled the dance floor, celebrating late into the night!
